At Mediacendo, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data.
Mediacendo is a paid media management platform that helps businesses plan, manage, activate and report on advertising campaigns across connected platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Google Ads and LinkedIn.
This page explains how you can disconnect your advertising accounts and request the deletion of personal data associated with Mediacendo.
1. Request the Deletion of Your Data
You can request the deletion of your personal data held by Mediacendo at any time.
To submit a request by email:
- Email support@mediacendo.com.
- Use the subject line Data Deletion Request – Mediacendo.
- Include the email address associated with your Mediacendo account.
- Specify whether you want to delete data associated with a particular advertising platform or request deletion of your entire Mediacendo account and its associated personal data.
We may request additional information to verify your identity and protect your account from unauthorized deletion requests. Please do not send passwords or access tokens.
We will acknowledge your request and respond without undue delay and within one calendar month, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Where permitted by law, this period may be extended for complex requests. We will inform you within the initial month if an extension is required and explain why.
2. Disconnecting Third-Party Advertising Accounts
If you have connected an advertising account to Mediacendo, you can revoke Mediacendo’s access through the relevant advertising platform.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
Visit your Facebook or Meta business settings, locate the relevant business integration or connected application, and remove Mediacendo’s access.
TikTok
Visit your TikTok Business Center or connected application settings and revoke Mediacendo’s authorization.
Google Ads
Visit your Google Account security settings to remove Mediacendo’s third-party access. Where applicable, review and remove any related Google Ads account access.
Visit your LinkedIn account settings and review the permitted services or connected applications.
Revoking access prevents further authorized access through the removed connection. However, it does not necessarily delete data previously transferred to Mediacendo.
To request deletion of previously stored data, follow the instructions in Section 1. Removing Mediacendo’s connection does not delete your account on the advertising platform itself.
3. What Data Can Be Deleted?
Depending on how you use Mediacendo, your request may cover:
- Personal profile information and account identifiers.
- Connected advertising account information and authorization credentials.
- Campaign-related information imported from connected advertising platforms.
- Media plans, campaign configurations and related workspace data.
- Personal information included in collaboration records, comments and approval histories.
Where you request deletion of an entire workspace, we may need to verify that you are authorized to make that request on behalf of the relevant organization.
Some information may need to be retained where required by law, or where necessary and lawfully justified, including to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for those purposes.
4. Data Deletion and Retention
Once a valid deletion request has been verified, Mediacendo will delete the relevant personal data or anonymise it where appropriate, unless retention is legally required or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups until it is removed through the applicable backup retention cycle.
We will confirm when your request has been completed or explain if certain information cannot be deleted and why.
